This past weekend I visited my hometown, Buffalo NY. Of course, I had to go to my favorited spot for wings – Duffs.

I was surprised to learn that a lot of my friends in Chicago didn’t know that Buffalo created the delicious Buffalo wing. This may be our biggest claim to fame and yet few people know.

Whenever I am in town, I have to get an order of wings to share with the family, and this time was no different.

I went to Duffs and picked up 40 medium wings to go – they’re sauce runs very hot, I always suggest medium.

I brought them home to share with my family, and between the five of us, including my mom, dad, brother, and friend, we finished them in 20 minutes.

“no one does wings better than Duffs” my mother said. My dad disagreed “Duffs are great, but Bar-Bill is the best, hands down,” my father said.

Bar-Bill is another local stop for wings. “Duffs sauce is perfect, but Bar-Bill nails the sauce and the crispiness of the wing every time,” my father said.

I still prefer Duff’s wings, the sauce is incredible, and the crispiness, and texture of the wing is something you truly won’t find anywhere else.

One thing my family all agrees on is that Buffalo is home to the best wings on planet earth. so if you’re ever in this awesome city, please try our wings.
